Black Stilt Pinor Noir 2014
The 2014 Pinot Noir is more intense than the 2013 with more of the “forest floor” characteristics of a French Burgundy, but full of fruit and spice flavours with a long finish. Like the 2013 it will continue to develop with more bottle age but is drinking beautifully now. Being from North Otago, it has a beautiful balance with lovely acidity, freshness, elegance and even though it is very approachable now it will cellar for another 4-5 years plus.
Black Stilt Riesling 2016
The 2016 Riesling is a wine that we’re really excited about. This delicious Riesling has aromas of fresh lime zest, white flowers, and a touch of honey, beautifully balanced with a long and mineral finish. Beautiful now but will also cellar for the next 4-5 years plus.
Valli Riesling 2013
Otago is becoming another great region for the production of stunning Riesling and Valli makes one of the best, off-dry, profound and concentrated with hints of petrol and wild flowers. This is something that even though is approachable now it will also cellar for many years to come.
Q Waitaki Valley Pinot Noir 2015
"It’s youthful and ripe on the nose displaying red/black cherry, blueberry, spice and a hint of game characters. The palate is well-expressed with lovely fruit weight and silky texture, leading to a lingering dry finish backed by polished tannins.
Q Waitaki Valley Pinot Gris 2015
"It’s beautifully ripe on the nose displaying white peach, pear, citrus and floral characters. The palate is concentrated and richly textured with succulence and well-balanced acidity, finishing impressively long and smooth. A lovely dry-style with a beautifully flowing mouthfeel.
