Montecampo Pinot Grigio 2017
North Eastern Italy has historically produced outstanding Pinot Grigio in fact among the very best in the world and always incredibly well priced. This is superb, it’s exactly what you would expect from a top notch Pinot Grigio, full bodied, crisp, fresh, flinty, aged on its lees for a few months so with great substance and concentration, just stunning!
Sopra Sasso Rosso Veneto 2014
It’s difficult to find an outstanding red wine from Veneto of this quality. Made from the classical grapes of the region which are Corvina Veronese, Corvinone and Rondinella and obtained by partly drying the grapes this red wine has a dark red colour with garnet tinges, a velvety, full-bodied and sapid palate. Serve at 16-18°C. Try with roasts, game and seasoned cheese. Will also cellar for 4-5 years plus.
Mezza Corona Pinot Grigio Riserva 2016
Our new arrival of our most popular Pinot Grigio, we have literally sold 100s of cases and once you try it is quite easy to understand why. The north east of Italy where this particular Pinot Grigio is from produces some outstanding cool climate white wines. It is crisp, light and delicate, slightly oily with hints of Turkish delight, pine nuts and some lovely acidity. If you are tired of semi-sweet heavy Pinot Gris, this is for you, refreshing, flinty and mineral, excellent with food or without and drinking well now or over the next couple of years.
Carpene Malvolti Prosecco Brut N.V.
Also produced from the prosecco grape in the Charmat method, this wine is delightfully smooth, fresh and well balanced with plenty of light refreshing bubbles and drier than the dry. A multiple award winning wine of great distinction.
Col Vetoraz Prosecco Brut 2017
Scents of ripe stone fruits lead to a dry, smooth and intense palate with subtle notes of white blossoms, citrus zest, and a touch of toasted bread and elegant, fine bubbles fills the mouth with creamy texture. Energetic and clean, Col Vetoraz Prosecco complements a wide variety of foods, making it an ideal to pour with appetizers, salads, even brunch! Located in Cartizze, one of the prime areas of the Valdobbiadene region of the Veneto, Col Vetoraz grows its grapes organically at about 1,300 feet above sea level on very steep hills in vineyard sites where the Prosecco, or Glera, grape has grown since 1838. The grapes ferment in temperature-controlled stainless steel, and wine enjoys a second fermentation in tank in the “Charmat” method.
Carpene Malvolti Rosé Brut
From the region of Veneto, northern Italy, Carpene Malvolti has been producing sparkling wine since 1860, one of the longest histories in the production of sparkling wine. This is made from Pinot Nero and Raboso. The blend of these two varieties along with a slow fermentation in pressurised tanks has produced an intensely perfumed and floral wine. Wonderful refined bubbles with a delicate bouquet yet full rounded flavour, bright pink in colour with crimson highlights, very refreshing, vibrant and fresh.
