Marc Bredif Vouvray 2017
Marc Bredif is synonymous with producing outstanding Vouvray in the Loire Valley, this is the classic 2017, an excellent vintage which is just off-dry, full bodied, complex with slight hints of oiliness, profound and rich. Vouvray, made from Chenin Blanc, can be enjoyed now but this will also cellar for many years. Excellent with food or just on its own!

We get more requests for this than any other bubbly that we’ve ever stocked. And of course, once you try it, it’s quite understandable. It is an unpretentious, light, dry, very refreshing and crisp bubbly with lovely acidity, refined bubbles and ideal for big functions or just for the weekend! You can drink it on its own, you can mix it with orange juice, cassis etc. At the price it is unequal value for money.

This is made from Chenin Blanc from the Loire Valley and in the Traditional Method of Champagne, first fermentation and second fermentation in bottle, yeasty, rich and full bodied, with lovely refined and tiny bubbles, long bead and lovely balance. A great substitute for Champagne at a fraction of the cost. Something to be enjoyed on its own or also with fish, anti-pasta etc.
