Les Chiens Catalans Blanc 2018
This is marvellous and really beautiful!
A blend of Grenache Blanc, and Roussanne, typical varieties from the Languedoc-Roussillon (Pays Catalans), it is fresh and crisp with lovely acidity and floral from the addition of Roussanne yet mineral and full bodied.
This is ideal for Summer with lovely fresh fish and drank in the South of France such as Monaco.
Chevalier de L’Engarran Rouge 2015
This is absolutely new from the range of wines by Chateau de L’Engarran. A beautiful blend that describes and typifies Languedoc perfectly. Garrigue, spice and floral notes with hints of leather, dark cherry and hints of tapenade with a bright purple hue. This immediately take you back to the South of France, medium to full bodied, served at around 16-18 degrees with a beautiful ratatouille and you may as well be there yourself!
Terres de L'Engarran Rose 2018
Chateau de L’Engarran enjoys a tremendous reputation and history in the Coteaux du Languedoc rose is one of Chateau’s specialities. Made from Grenache and Syrah, this Rose is made from the juice that has seeped from the grapes without any artificial pressure. Beautiful wild salmon pink and onion skin colour with bright fresh aromas, hints of spice and beautiful texture. This is the kind of Rosé that you have on the veranda of a restaurant in Cannes or maybe Monaco with a salad nicoise.
Terres de L'Engarran Rouge 2017
A new addition from this much acclaimed producer made from a blend of Syrah, Merlot and Grenache which is full bodied with typical expression of Languedoc in being perfumed and floral with hints of dry herbs and garrigue. On the palate it’s profound with lovely racy acidity, soft caressing tannins and a long finish. Excellent now but better over the next 3-4 years.
