One of the most classic Marlborough estates in New Zealand going back to 1978, in fact one of the vineyards responsible for putting New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc on the world map, their style has not changed one bit, they still produce elegant, crisp, clean and racy Sauvignon Blanc which offers typical varietal character yet symbolises Marlborough through and through. The 2009 vintage was not a huge vintage but it made up for it quality wise and even though a little young at the moment it will develop into a superb wine with lots of gooseberry, passionfruit and a generous mid and back palate. Drink now or cellar for up to 2 years.
