Mairehau Sauvignon Blanc 2004
Mairehau Sauvignon Blanc 2004
For lovers of Cloudy Bay Te Koko and Dog Point Section 94, you should seriously consider this. A brand new winery situated in Waipara that sources his fruit for this outstanding Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough. You will hear a lot about this in the fourth coming years. It is a Sauvignon Blanc made in the style of a Sancerre which has been fermented in old barrel and left on lees for 8 months. The wine displays slightly mango and grapefruit flavours but at the same time being quite flinty, extremely crisp and fresh. On the palate it has length, concentration and purity yet displaying slightly grassy and citrus flavours. An outstanding Sauvignon Blanc that we are proud to offer at an incredibly good price particularly compared to many others on the market.
