A brand new release from Alan McCorkindale of his 2008 Chardonnay which as expected it delivers outstanding quality and affordability. This wine is an elegant Marlborough Chardonnay that underwent traditional Burgundy style fermentation along with regularly stirred lees in the barrels, giving it generous length and structure. Malolactic fermentation has softened the acid and added complexity. We love this style of Chardonnay where elegance and balance is the key. Ideally it should be cellared for another year or so as this will enrich and further develop the middle palate. At the price it is simply outstanding.
