You will all be familiar now with Sam Neil's Two Paddocks Pinot Noir. This is his second label, Picnic, sourced from his Two Paddocks vineyards in Alexandra and Gibbston. We believe that this Pinot offers extraordinarily good value for money particularly in the view of other Pinot Noir prices. It is an early drink style Pinot Noir which displays typical Pinot flavours of game, thyme and mushroom yet characteristically very Central Otago in style. The wine delivers a medium structure coupled with good fruit, clean acidity and good purity, being of good depth and mouth appeal. Drink now or keep for 3-4 years.
