This is the baby of the family right from the heart of Tuscany made from Sangiovese with a small proportion of Merlot. The wine has a slightly crimson red colour with a touch of purple. On the palate the Sangiovese offers generous spiced and smokey flavours which are very well balanced by the fruity and plumy characteristics of the Merlot. This makes it a great companion to light pasta dishes, meals and your favourite BBQ. Excellent value for your money at $12.95. Drink now or keep for 2 years.
