A top single vineyard Chianti Classico Riserva exhibiting dark brown colour with hints of purple. On the palate it’s rounded, well structured and with high acidity also being smoky with a perfume of dry herbs and candid fruits, but as with the great Tuscany Chiantis, very clean, focused and a high degree of purity. It should be opened one hour prior to drinking or decanted. It needs to be said that at the price it offers incredible value as you would easily pay well over $70-$80 for a wine of this quality. Ideal with roasts, pasta dishes and aged cheeses. Drink now or cellar for 4 years.
