Our latest shipment all the way from Tuscany in Italy, Contessa di Radda is one of the outstanding Chiantis from Geografico and also a spectacular vintage. Made from a blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo on appearance it displays a deep ruby red colour, with a vinerous tobacco, leather bouquet which leads to a medium full body wine in structure yet displaying soft tannins, ripeness and intensely aromatic. Very well layered with hints of minerality, racy acidity and complete focus. We strongly recommended to be opened 2-3 hours prior to drinking. Will also cellar for another 3-5 years.
