Bruno Thierry Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2003

We have been importing this producer for a number of years now who is both a negociants and grower producing a wide range of top Cotes du Rhone wines. Chateauneuf-du-Pape is probably one of the best known appellations from this area and also one of the most prestigious. The 2003 vintage is a classic for this appellation and is showing very well now with a brick red purple colour on appearance, and a perfume of black olive, dry herb and black pepper. On the palate it's generous, tightly structured, clean and pure with hints of tapenade, crushed black pepper corns and roasted capsicum. Drink now or cellar for another 3-5 years.
