    Chateau de L’Engarran enjoys a tremendous reputation and history in the Coteaux du Languedoc rose is one of Chateau’s specialities. Made from Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah, this Rose is made from the juice that has seeped from the grapes without any artificial pressure. Its bright red colour and cherry red currant aromas lead into a smooth, round, long and well balanced palate of strawberry and a distinctive terroir flavour of the area, crisp and dry. Great on its own or with grilled fish, it is a perfect summer wine as it is light but flavoursome and aromatic. Enjoy it now.

    This is a great find, we tried it against Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Cornas, Gigondas etc, well the question is why should you pay those prices when this brilliant Cotes du Roussillon at half of the price is just up there. Made from a blend of Grenache and Shiraz, it is made for Winter really, lots of black pepper, Tapinade and exotic spices, excellent middle palate with the concentration and depth of a top Cotes du Rhone. Very attractive red berry and mature black fruit flavours, full body, mineral complexity with superb finish. An excellent Winter warming red that is starting to drink now but will also keep for another 3/4 years, have it with red meats, cheese and casseroles.
