A fourth generation family estate located in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, their wines have always been a true expression of what superb Pinot Noir is. With the present generation at the helm, their aim is for even bigger heights. The 2005 vintage is absolutely outstanding, supple black fruit with spice, blackberry and truffle. With an average vine age of about 35 years, close planting and no irrigation, the wine is expressive and completely terroir driven. Focus, vibrancy and purity are all too evident, a little young but will cellar for 7-8 years.
