This is a "Grand Cru Classe" wine from St Emilion and is made by the Lafon family, who are responsible of producing another Accent On Wine favourite the Lagrave Paran. Made from Merlot, Cab Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, the wine is garnet red in colour tending to black with a lot of perfume of dry herbs and rose petals, an indication of its relative youth. The wine reflects the typical terrior of St Emilion being a dry firm wine with a great backbone. The wine often takes two to three years from vintage to start developing.
