Chateau Haut Bailly was one of the first properties who produced a second wine. Normally wines made from younger vines go into the second label which is La Parde, the proportions of grape varieties will change depending on the vintage however it is a wine that expresses wonderful charm yet being very elegant with great finesse but yet remaining excellent, silky and well balanced Bordeaux with a significant ability to age for about 10-15 years. A classic Bordeaux without having to pay the earth for it. Drink now or over the next 4-5 years.
