Chateau Cissac 2003
Cru Bourgeois is the classification below the great "growth" classification in Bordeaux which was established in 1855. The best of these wines can be as good as, and at times even better, than a third or fourth growth wine. Chateau Cissac 03 is the typical Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This has a very appealing dark tar colour and exhibits dark berry fruit and a tobacco bouquet. The palate is very full yet very clean with a great depth and concentration with the flavours of the land (or 'terroir') of the Haut Medoc, dominant in the tannin structure. Also available in cases of 6, which over-rides the minimum requirement of 12 bottles per order. Comes in a classy branded wooden box if ordered in cases of 12.
