    Undoubtedly one of the most outstanding Pinot Gris in this country. This wine is made by Jacques & Francois Lurton well known for making outstanding wines in Bordeaux and the Coteaux du Languedoc. This Pinot Gris has a floral slightly perfumed bouquet with good concentration of apple, fig characteristics it is also quite oily and rich with hints of dry herb on the palate. A typical cool climate Pinot Gris which is always very clean with great purity and freshness. Drinking extremely well now but due to its concentration, depth and perfect structure, it is also a wine that will be rewarding for the next 3-4 years.

    For lovers of white Burgundy, this is for you, made from a blend of Friulano, Chardonnay and Torrontes. This is impressive stuff especially at the price. Concentration, elegance and balance, we tried this against $40+ Chardonnay, it made some of them look a bit amateurish. Perfect oak balance with lees stirring and aging, broad and powerful yet exuding balance and harmony. One to impress or cellar or both.

    The huge revolution that Spain has undergone in making wine did not only extend to the reds but also to their whites. This is a magnificent example of low yielding Viura and Verdejo can make. The wine is pale and very clear yellow with glints of green. Very good intensity dominated by the fruity side of the Verdejo. White fruits (white peaches), notes of apricot, candied fruits, with a hint of fresh butter. Beautiful freshness that balances the volume in the mouth admirably well. Equally good aromatic intensity, with an explosion of white fruits (nicely ripe white peaches, melon) giving an impression of sweetness.
